There is a need for a supportive environment for creators and inventors. Those who are gifted intellectually, artistically, and in many different areas lack support for growth, specially if they don’t have money. Many creators have many ideas of which can help our world, but don’t know where to go or how to make their ideas come to life. Some inventors have made products or know how to make them, but fear sharing their ideas, because they don’t want their ideas and new inventions stolen. So, inventions that could have been created, that could have helped our world, have not been nurtured, thus not grown to a level where it can help our society and our world.

Let’s imagine if we had a society where creations and inventions were made to help our society and our world, and not made for money or power. Imagine a world where inventions were made to help humanity, and credit was given to the inventor and/or creator instead of a greedy business or a greedy person. Inventor Safe Haven was created for inventors and creators who need a supportive environment, a place where they feel safe with their ideas, so they can grow and consequently help humanity and our world. Some people might say that this nonprofit sounds more philosophical than reality, but this can be argued with that right now this nonprofit is a reality, and is working towards this vision. We support all creators and inventors that want to help humanity and our world.

There is research indicating that depression, anxiety, and mood disorders are present in researchers, scientists, and people of high creativity. Children and adults who identify as “gifted” are more susceptible to depression and at times anxiety type symptoms. These come due to the feelings of loneliness that being “gifted” brings. Inventors like Leonardo Da Vinci was suspected to have suffered from anxiety and ADHD. Many other “geniuses”, creators, and inventors, were suspected to have suffered from some type of mental health illness. Some polymaths who made creations and inventions also suffered from some type of mental health illness.

Some common feelings that many creators, people who are highly intelligent, and/or inventors have is the feelings of being lonely, low self-confidence, misunderstood, impostor syndrome, and that time is never enough. These feelings can be emotionally tiring, thus negatively impacting personal growth and potentials they could reach. Consequently, the chance for the world to see a new creation and/or invention that could help humanity and our world is lowered. This is just some of the struggles that creators and inventors have, of course there are more.

As a society we need a safe haven where future and present creators plus inventors can go for understanding, and support. We will do this through programs that provide support and education on topics that will help nurture the client we are serving. We plan to raise funds for the advancement of education and science. We plan to grow as a nonprofit and hopefully influence our world where humanity can unite for the benefit of all humanity and our planet Earth plus it’s moon.
